Leah Esquenazi was born just over 2 years ago. Shortly after her birth she fell desperately ill. For months her illness mystified doctors all over California. Finally she was diagnosed—with Mito (short for Mitochondrial disease). Mito is a disease that has no cure and very few treatments. Leah lost her battle with Mito on June 6 2013, passing away peacefully in her sleep in the arms of her loving parents.
After two years of constant hospital visits, 24 hour nursing care, expensive medical equipment, and much more—her parents are left in desperate debt. There are millions of medical bills to pay, and no money to go around.
For those who loved Leah —for she touched the hearts of THOUSANDS of individuals around the globe, we are happy to present a special memorial patch in her memory. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Zev and Frani Esquenazi to help pay the bills left behind.
Rest in peace little princess, you will be missed!
