Distracted By Star Wars - because there is no better distraction from your day than from a galaxy far far away!

DBSW is a showcase for all of the great Star Wars related items that I find on the web. Currated by r2witco, this site is in no way associated with © Lucasfilm Limited and has nothing but the greatest respect for George "the maker" Lucas and the amazing universe he has created.

Star Wars Uncut - Scene 399

The stylization on this one is awesome, make sure to pay attention to Chewie and 3po in the background.

This is the best 2:24 minutes I’ve spent on YouTube in a while. And some of the best lego Star Wars stop-motion I’ve ever seen.

Star Wars, Like You’ve Never Seen It Before
Star Wars games have often tried to paint the franchise in a different light, from Super Star Wars’ over-abundance of bad guys to LEGO Star Wars’ fondness of plastic dismemberment. But these animation shorts, these are different. These short clips, made late last year, are part of the excellent “Star Wars Uncut” project and are the work of Canadian artist Malcolm Sutherland. They’re still “Star Wars”, just…not as you’ve seen it before.

These are some of my favorite submissions to the Star Wars Uncut project, besides the ones I worked on - of course ;)

Patrick’s work is amazing! He’s been a huge inspiration to me as far as what can be done with stop motion work. You can see more his videos here.
