According to Star Wars Origins, Vader’s theme is based off the tune Mars, the Bringer of War, from the orchestral suite The Planets by Gustav Holst. There are quite few influences to other Star Wars themes in this song, I think the most obvious one to me is at 6:58 of the clip below.
