One of my favorite stop motion animators is back with a few short, but sweet, scenes of Vader getting his ass kicked. Be sure to check out the other ones too…

Star Wars Detours
Star Wars Detours is an animated comedy that explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away. There are no Empires striking back or attacking clones here. Instead, Star Wars Detours focuses on the universe’s regular folks and their everyday problems… which, to be fair, do frequently involve famous bounty hunters, crazed Ewoks, and even a Dark Lord of the Sith. - from the official Facebook pageI can’t wait to see more of this! Picking up where Robot Chicken left off, Seth Green and Matthew Senreich take Star Wars back to the funny side of the Force. While I prefer stop-motion animation, I think the look and feel of these cartoons are great. For now you can see more clips over at StarWars.com as well as stay up to date and catch a few laughs on the Detours Facebook page.

According to Star Wars Origins, Vader’s theme is based off the tune Mars, the Bringer of War, from the orchestral suite The Planets by Gustav Holst. There are quite few influences to other Star Wars themes in this song, I think the most obvious one to me is at 6:58 of the clip below.
