DBSW.net Redesign…
Just in time for Celebration, I have redesigned DBSW to go with my new business cards (shown above). This is a bit of a soft launch as I have few tweaks and features planned. I’m done: Star Wars opening crawl, using only HTML & CSS. Caveats: It’s kinda lame without the music, and it only works in Safari 4.0.4 for Mac and the WebKit nightly. Nothing else supports the CSS 3D transforms and animations I used, but I just wanted to see if it could be done.
This may be one of the geekier things I’ve seen in a while. It also appeals to my 2 main interests these days, star wars and web design - so it is automatically cool in my book. Too bad I couldn’t get it to work on my end - not even with Safari 4.0.4 on my Mac, I had the music all ready to go along with it.
